“I cannot recommend Henleywood Labradors enough. From the very  beginning of our new pup journey to the days after we got our amazing Chester home, Carol and Kevin were fantastic

We lost our dog Wilson in April 23 and it took a long time before Ian would even consider another pup in our lives. 

We started talking about another pup in 2025 and came across Henleywood Labradors. We have never looked back since we started following the FB page. It is so informative and engaging.

Towards the end of 25, I had a chat with Carol. Just from this conversation I knew we would be having a pup from Henleywood. Carol was so lovely and helpful and it was obvious how much she cared for her labs. We put our names down for Grace”s litter in June 26 following this conversation. This may be a long time for some but it was right for us

At the end of May, we went and met Carol and Grace and also Bonnie. We went on a lovely walk and just chatted generally about the labs

We then had a drinks break and met the adorable Kitty, one of Grace’s litter from 2024.

This visit just further cemented that Henleywood was so right for us

We then began the journey of following, Grace’s pregnancy, then labour and then the first 8 weeks of the puppies. All this could be viewed of the Facebook page which was regularly updated by Carol with important updates, photos and videos. We avidly followed and was so grateful to Carol for making us part of the journey virtually. She even managed to provide regular updates during 2 litters totalling 20 plus pups,  not to mention an emergency c section during graces labour. If this doesn’t demonstrate how remarkable, caring and dedicated  Carol and Kevin are, I don’t know what does! 

At 6 weeks we had another amazing visit to Henleywood and chose our beautiful Chester. To be honest, if we didn’t have a choice it would not have mattered because they were all beautiful and so well cared for

At 8 weeks the day we had been waiting for had finally arrived. Chester was coming home! On arrival at Henleywood, Carol and Kevin presented us with an amazing puppy pack and talked us through meal times, health checks and everything we needed to know! 

On leaving with Chester, I gave Carol a big hug and I think she would agree it represented the lovely journey we had been on with Henleywood Labradors.

The amazing thing is now, we can still message Carol with  our updates and through the FB page will be able to see how Chester’s brothers and sisters are doing

10 out of 10 for henleywood doesn’t even come close. We have been so impressed from day one and wouldn’t change a thing. With Henleywood you are getting a fabulous breed but so much more! Carol and Kevin go above and beyond in everything we do. We only hope we can do them proud and provide Chester the amazing life he had with his Henleywood family”

I was incredibly lucky to be involved with Chilli’s litter right from the very beginning, including being there when the puppies were born. That gave me a rather unique opportunity to see first-hand just how much care, time and sheer hard work Carol puts into her dogs and puppies, not just in those first few hours, but throughout the following eight weeks.

The puppies have been raised with so much thought given to their early experiences, confidence and development. Nothing is rushed or done simply because it is “what breeders do”. Carol genuinely cares about giving each puppy the best possible start and preparing them for life in their new homes.

I’ve worked professionally with dogs and behaviour for many years, so I probably notice rather more than most when it comes to a puppy’s early development. I have been genuinely impressed by the work Carol puts in behind the scenes and by how happy, confident and well-adjusted the puppies are.

Carol and Kevin are also lovely, genuine people who care enormously about where their puppies go and want to get the right puppy with the right family.

We brought home our beautiful Chilli, Henleywood Summer Sunrise, and she has arrived with confidence, curiosity and a wonderful ability to take new experiences in her stride. I couldn’t have asked for a better foundation to build on.

“I've finally got my much awaited Henleywood pup and she is absolutely everything I hoped she would be. Beautiful Bonnie gave birth to her wonderful litter in June 2026. I was able to follow Bonnie's progress from coming into season, to her pregnancy being confirmed and finally to her giving birth and raising all 11 of her pups, so I have been a part of my little pup's journey since she was conceived and that is truly a wonderful thing for me.

Choosing her was quite tricky because all of the pups were wonderful but in the end I went with my instincts and chose red collar and I feel that she is perfect for me. When you choose a Henleywood pup, you're not just getting any pup, you're getting a puppy from a family who gives their all to each and every one of their dogs. There's also a huge community of Henelywood owners who provide updates and support for one another on the dedicated FB group page and through this group I discovered Henelywood families who live close by, so new friendships have been forged already.

What I really want to say though, is a huge thanks to Carol from the bottom of my heart.  From the very first moment that I spoke to her, 15 months ago, I knew, without hesitation, that I wanted one of her Henleywood pups and would wait for however long it took to get on her list.

Carol is warm, kind, knowledgeable and experienced and raises her dogs in the glorious Shropshire hills. She loves her girls and their puppies unreservedly and that's exactly what I was looking for: I wanted a puppy that had been raised in the home in a rural setting and that's what I got!

I am grateful, every day, that I found Carol and Kevin. Thank you both for all that you do to raise the most amazing puppies and for giving such a wonderful life to all of your girls, during their days of motherhood and beyond. It's probably the fact that you do look after your girls so beautifully, long after they have stopped producing puppies that warms my heart the most. I am proud to be a Henleywood pup owner.”
